After years of traveling for a living, I don’t have a single favorite. Currently I’m trying to stay away from restaurants because prices are too high and they are not good for my health. I know many places offer “healthier” options, but I’m too weak to take those options. If I’m going to go out to eat, I’m getting the unhealthiest thing on the menu! I can eat salads and grilled chicken at home.
So, a few favorites. In Mississippi, I cannot bypass Shaggy’s. My favorite in Louisiana is near a little town called Crowley. Mo’crawfish. The Mazatlan in Denton, Texas has THE best Mexican food. And believe it or not, the best Chinese buffet I’ve ever had is off I-240 in Oklahoma City. A Taste of China. I cannot go through OKC without stopping there. I have several more in other states as well, but that would take forever so I’ll just leave it there. 🙂
