I am starting to love DIY projects! A pair of sawhorses at Lowes are about $60. I built these ones here for about 1 dollar (screws) because I used wood I got from dumpster diving at a restaurant being remodeled. It was pretty easy, too.
First, I cut 2x4s into 14 36″ pieces. (7 pieces for each saw horse). The first thing you do is make a capital ‘I’ out of three pieces.

Next, you turn the ‘I’ sideways and attach the legs at an angle. Flip it over and attach the next two legs after that.

Boom! Easy DIY sawhorses. Now, I can start building my chicken coop.
